WHAT!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I can't find any Friendship Is Magic BGM or Music at my favorite source of audio content for Equestria This Week but I just saw today the stolen illegal poor quality Pinky Pie song "Smile Smile Smile"?!? WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE!

Urgh. Do. Not. Want. No matter how content desperate I am. I'll wait until I find legit content to use... sigh.

The first episode? 60% Complete. Hope to have it out by tomorrow (Wednesday). Stay tuned.

Progress - I have to double time to finish this episode if I want an episode out every Sunday... so I'll be late this episode, hopefully next episode is on time.

Scripting I am moving apace, as always the longest time going to the actual assembly. Music wise I am lacking any Friendship is Magic content so I am presently asking for help in that area.

I am presently adding music by the mood of the moment than anything by the show... until more content in that regard is in hand and usable. Sorry.

Otaku Nation Episode 1 launches Wednesday. 3DS Update : Big Brother Mode engaged

This may be a first for a handheld, but as of this new update it is now no longer possible to graph unauthorized hardware to the 3DS, or unauthorized software as the 3DS now is enabled with a killswitch to shut it down if you try to mod it with software amd tech forbidden by Nintendo.

I'm going to take it, then, that the makers of PSPVC might as well scrap plans for a 3DSVC version as no doubt that'll trip the killswitch. Ditto with anyone's plans to mod the 3DS, all sniped in the bud before they could launch. Oh well, sorry.

But still this wasn't unsuspected. We knew the 3DS was going to be region locked, we just didn't know that would require a virtual gun being pointed at 3DS owners heads.

Next update should be Nintendo Video. Stay tuned.

I gave it my all (submissions for video game reviewing work)

Finally had a chance to try and prove my merits as a reviewer. Presently it is a volunteer reviewing job, but it is work once again so that is quite important. Most important. So fingers crossed as I await my fate, please cross your fingers for me please. Thank you.

So what am I reviewing? For Nintendo it is the DS/3DS and commentary coverage of the Wii U as we spend a year counting down to release, as well as Somy's PSP. I plan to add back Nintendo's Wii in October knock on wood.

Update on my fate in this regard coming one day, stay tuned.

We are finally making progress today! Yay!

Power Rangers Henshin Episode 6 is just about done, and should be out later today. I will then work on finishing Digital Scribbles Episode 4, and put work to put out 3DS Life Episode 4 out this week... I have a commentary you need to listen to in light of the newest press conference by Nintendo concerning their lack of concern regarding free gaming slash social media gaming (aka the 800 pound gorrila in the room Nintendo refuses to speak of) and Nintendo's future with free downloadable demos.

Once again walking out to find fresh work online. Sadly online employment opportunities seem as stagnant as real world job opportunities. Well no need to despair. Roll up my sleeves and plunge forward each day looking for work. Sally forth and all that.

Somehow I ended up commenting on Nintendo's reasons behind no plug-ins for their systems, which is logical and sad since their bottom line is more important than their fanbase as you'll see. Check it out once its out.

July 2011 - Minisodes

Working all this month on minicasts of 20 minutes... an experiment to see if smaller bites of cast prove popular or not. We will see.

Anyway we started the Independence Weekend casts with a double release, Game As You Go (mobile game reviews) and Arcade Jukebox (gaming music cast). A full version (both casts together as originally planned) is coming at the end of the weekend. That'll be one of the indicators of whether or not minicasts take off, but again we will see.

Updates on other casts in the work this weekend coming up shortly. Stay tuned.

I don't know why, there is very little chance of creating objectionable content short of, I don't know, giant male penis platforms but who'd think of that... besides me of course. 3DS System Update Info (June 15th 2011)

Not much but most important for you Ridge Racer 3D owners.

- Improves stability again and improves the 3DS overall... check out my 3DS Episode 4 commentary as to why you will never see plug ins like adobe flash player as something made available to any handhelds in the future.

- The freeze up problem with Ridge Racer 3D caused last update is fixed.

- Now you can download updates from wireless internet sources that you can add to the 3DS... guess this means stuff you find from Nintendo sources like McDonalds and Starbucks and the like can now be added to your 3DS. Guess I have to check that out myself in the future.

Now checking to see what is new with the 3DS Shop.

Anyone need a DSi Shop card?

As you know if you have been listening to 3DS Life, one of the things I did to prepare for the opening of the eshop to the 3DS was buy a DSi Shop card since the 3DS was supposed to get access to that shop... which happened, only not the way I originally planned.

So I have a $20 DSi Shop card, aka 2000 points and looking to trade for a 3DS card of equal value, aka $20. Post a comment here if your looking to trade. Serious traders only please, sorry, thank you.

Shortly I will put up a vote for the name of the new mobile gaming review cast. Voting will go through to July 1st, with the cast hopefully launching July 4th.

Now looking for one of those pesky 3DS cards to start my first shopping trip... sigh. In the meantime working through the cast and hope to have it done by this weekend knock on wood.

I figured, well, instead of a bunch of casts I'll just compile it down into one cast. Game Boy stuff, Wii stuff, Game Cube stuff, Nintendo 64 stuff... all here. Presently halfway through, with an all Zelda cast (to kick off the coming of Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time 3D on the 3DS) coming in the near future.

DSi Shop Card available for Trade!

That's 2000 points... good thing I didn't buy more I suppose.
So much for access to the DSi Shop. The only thing you get is DSi games in the 3DS Shop... so this card? It's worthless to me. Trading it  for a 3DS card or a PlayStation Network card... yes, I am low on room but I can still use it all the same.

I'll update you on my search. If you are a follower and want to trade I'll let you know how. Just leave a comment here please for more information.

Nintendo Update 2.0.0 3DS Edition is Up... and already there's bugs!

Yes, apparently the e-shop wasn't even up 30 minutes before it went under for maintenance... wow... anyway I am reporting on the full upgrade over in 3DS Life... and all the hiccups the first day out with the new e-shop... argh... the internet and the first free thing you can get off the eshop... if you can get on.

Wii Life - Probably the only cast I don't have plans for yet... sigh.

The Skit of the Month - The Wonder Pets Save...

It seems I don't come up with many skits per month, probably because of this hiccupy piece of tech I use which makes it hard to be completely creative... but I do come up with the occasional idea. Only five days remain to the re-opening of the PlayStation Store (barring it opening early... unlikely) and the opening of e-shops to the 3DS (at least the DSiWare Shop and hopefully the 3DSWare Shop).

Miracles of miracles! We'll actually have the entire summer spoken for!... except for 3DS titles which requires the damn 3DSWare Shop to be open... stay tuned for this cast as I report on opening day of the shops and what shops opened... and what we're reviewing in the future!

(We have a cast planned for spots, puzzlers and one for RPGs including Kingdom Hearts 365/2 and that darn new recent Kingdom Hearts reboot on the DS... really, we ever going to get to Kingdom Hearts 3?!? Anytime in our lifetime, Square Enix slash Disney!

June 6th is quite a busy day!

Sony - They got a big press conference up on that day, and for the first time you can catch it streaming live on the Playstation Blog! Should be nice! And... oh yeah... the PlayStation Store should be back... with the exception of Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea, you have to stay tuned for updates... sorry.

Nintendo - No doubt they too will have a big announcement (it's the start of E3 after all). Taking it that we'll hear about Legend of Zelda : Sky Sword for the Wii, maybe why they didn't release Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle outside of Japan when the 3DS released... and hopefully news on Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney)... and yes, at last they'll release the update for the 3DS opening it to the eshops and making it's internet capacity useable... that's all good news, right?

Well forging ahead on a new 3DS Life (Episode 3) and PSP DLC Life (Episode 3) this week to count us down! Progress/?

Returning Casts?

Here's some updates on some returning casts I might get back off the ground shortly...
Retro Game Boy Life
Working on a summer schedule, and a plan to hit up GameStop's bargain bin of GBA titles to get this going through the summer. It's still in planning stages but once I got a new cast planned I'll re-release Episode 1 (formerly Week 1) to kick it off.

Wii Life
Another thing long gone, though mostly because it's been borrowed by family. But now that I'm working to get a Wii again I'm kicking this off again anew. Don't want to over plan (again like with 3DS Life) but I hope to have this up in June, starting with a re-release of Episode 1 (originally Week 1) and then work from there.

On present casts...

Plan to have an entire Zelda episode once I get ahold of Ocarina of Time 3D... so saving my budget up for that one review... maybe I'll just buy it used down the line... fingers crossed either way... oh, wait, also have to stock up on Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks... sigh.

PSP DLC Life
If Sony keeps to it's schedule anyday this weekend up to May 31st the PlayStation Store will return... when? I haven't a clue... oh well. Still have plenty to review for Episode 3 and working on that all this weekend.

Handheld Gaming Travel Guide 2011
One thing I'm working on is a cast covering handheld gaming travel... advice for travelling old school Game Boy Advance (for all things Game Boy), PSP and 3DS (the newest DS out now)... pre production stages right now as I plan to look at new gear to carry things in, get a 3DS starter kit of stuff to review, and dig into the GBA sale box at GameStop for new things to consider for travelling.\ Stay tuned, it's coming sometime in the Summer.

PlayStation Network Update (May 25th2011)

Let's see...

- We had a PSP update yesterday, and that didn't seem to do much for my PSP that I noticed.
- Today we had a PSN update that took it offline for some hours... and still no improvement to the PSN (no new add ons or the return of the PS Store)
- Today we once again heard that everything should be back by the end of My (the 31st)... but considering we're rolling into the 25th now that means Sony has only... a week left to fix EVERYTHING... good luck, Sony.
- I still think that we might not see Sony get the Store on it's feet until Nintendo gets the 3DS e-shop ready... and that seems to be June 6th... I would like it if Sony got their work done faster but... oh well, that's still my opinion but not something I can state as a fact until... somebody blinks and fixes their store problems.

So we're days away from the end of the year and... so so progress. At least now I can read the Playstation Blog better off of my PSP... so, well, at least there's that. Updates on podcasts coming up next.

Since Sony announced the free games you get to pick from on the PSP as part of the Welcome Back campaign I can now tell you what I am going to pick for review!

- Modnation Racers
Well... (shrugs)... there wasn't much choice and I didn't want Pursuit Force or Killzone Liberation.

- Little Big Planet
YAY! I loved the demo so the full game should be aces!

I can't remember what was free for PlayStation Plus membership... but that'll be part of the reviews for the episode. In the meantime beginning work on Episode 3, more news on that coming shortly.

The Return of the PSN Day 3 and... progress?

May 14th the PSN returned... sorta. You can now play multiplayer games (I should try that) and you can do a few things... including retrieve games and digital comics from your download history! Yes, the PS Store is still undergoing maintenance however it's there... and whatever you already paid for can be downloaded onto your PSP... and probably PS3... you just have to go into your account, check your download history and start downloading. Well... that means I can now work on PSP DLC Life Episode 3 since I have some stuff I already paid for that I didn't review yet, so lucky!

As for 3DS Life Episode 2? I just did a review of Iron Chef America and piecing together a review of Bakugan : Battle Brawler... waiting now for the final review item of the batch, Fast Food Panic, to come in. As for the 3DSWare Shop? Well that and the DSiWare Shop should be up soon... Late May begins this coming week so we should have the update any day next week. Stay tuned.

Reviving Cafe Jukebox here?

I am thinking about it, but not the all request version. I tried that on a different blog and nobody took the time to make requests... so, well, that was a bust. I might do that again if I can find a way to take requests.

Cafe Jukebox Week 8, the Nintendo vs. Sony cast (game music from games I plan to review on both the 3DS and PSP once the PSN returns) is coming soon, stay tuned.

3DS Life Episode 2 Update

Wow, these review items are coming in faster than I thought! Nice!
Now reviewing Iron Chef America : Supreme Cuisine.

One of the games that suckles from the teat of Cooking Mama... and wow that was alot more suggestive than I thought it would be when I started writing that... the game's mechanics should be a trip down Cooking Mama memory lane but we'll see. I doubt it has the same vocal range as Shop and Chop but we'll see.

Anyway I did in the past review the Wii version, that got a 4 out of 5. Let's see if this fares well.
Look for review updates on Fast Food Panic and Bakugan (I can't believe this TV Show is still on... but then again I can't believe Poke'mon in still on so go figure!)

Crisis at the PSN Day 23 and Nintendo... might actually get ahead.

We shouldn't even be having this conversation. Nintendo should have, on opening day of the 3DS, had both the 3DSWare Store and the DSiWare Store already available and open for business for the 3DS, instead of handicapping their own handheld by insisting on forcing people to buy 40 dollar 3DS game carts for a few months until they somehow, out of the goodness of their hearts (hah hah) got the two stores running in Late May (barring any further stupidity out of Nintendo).

So it stands to reason, even with the now 3 week crisis at the PSN, that only by Sony lying down and waving Nintendo forward can Nintendo somehow get it's shops up and running before Sony gets the PSN up again... which, actually... might happen.

I just saw something on Wikipedia's PSN page which suggests that maybe, maybe, the PSN might be back up by May 31st 2011... which, actually, gives Nintendo more than enough time to put out it's Late May update and get it's stores up and running days before Sony if... they don't delay or the President of Nintendo doesn't jump off a cliff screaming "I DON'T WANT TO BE NUMBER ONE!!" or something... of course Sony can still get the PSN up any day now... and there's a ton of days left before we get near Late May (I start counting at the 21st, the supposed end of the world day the latest nutter and his doomsday cult predicted would be the end of the world... yeah, right) so... well, like I said the only thing that can make Nintendo come out ahead of Sony is... well... Sony. Because certainly right now Nintendo is not actually trying to get ahead on it's own merits let me tell you... oh well.

We'll keep an eye on the two and see who flinches (and opens or reopens their store/stores) first. Stay tuned.

Added Bakugan Battle Brawler to the cast... yes, so far we are not reviewing any 3DS games... they're, what can I say... hard to come by in this town. I am looking forward to snapping up LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean though to start off 3DS reviewing. Should be out soon. So right now Episode 2 we're reviewing...

3DS Life Episode 2 Update

Well since sitting around waiting on Nintendo was boring I began to look elsewhere for content... and found some. Here's what's lined up so far for Episode 2.

Post #100 - Crisis at the PSN Day 19... and the natives are getting restless.

Really, a daily update that basically says "PLEASE DON'T ABANDON US"... and then repeats the same nonsense over and over again. Now they're at the "final stage" and it is not making people anymore confident as to Sony's ability to get the PSN back up anytime soon... yeah, people's patiences are at last wearing thin.

So we are coming up to Week 3 of the Crisis at the PSN and we are still waiting for definitive proof that the PSN will be back sometime soon... when that will happen? Who can say... actually yes I'm sure the Doctor can say... but he's not. He has seen Sony's future after all.

Anyway more updates to come once the next fake update from Sony is up. Stay tuned.

Crisis at the PSN Day 17 - ...almost over?

Well... almost. But as it stands now Sony is not even going to make the 1st week of May deadline. They say that they are at the last stage of the restoration... only problem is that the last stage may be the hardest as they have a ton to do with their security checks, and it seems that losing the Sony Online services shook them up something fierce... now restoration is supposed to be nearly done... only if they can get it done done.

So we may be rolling into Week 3 of the crisis with the PSN still down.
Of course should Nintendo decide to forego their Late May update and actually get the 3DS shops and internet off the ground EARLY they might still get ahead of Sony... but don't worry Sony, Nintendo is quite happy remaining behind you... apparently FAR behind you actually... Nintendo, not too keen on being at the head of the game aren't they... no, no they're not.

Well I'll be trying to snap up a few cheap DS carts for 3DS Life and as for Sony? Well... we'll see. Stay tuned for news on 3DS Life, PSP DLC and... yes... PSP TV which I think I'll work on this weekend... at least I can do that at any rate. Stay tuned.

3DS Life Episode One Coming This Weekend!!

Yes! We unbox and review the 3DS, kick starting a new era of Nintendo handheld reviews this coming weekend! At long last the cast comes out and 3DS Life launches! Yes!

We unbox the 3DS, review it, answer the nagging question of what a circle pad is, pick up some cards... what? There's no 3DS cards available yet?!?

DAMMIT!!

3DS Life... sorta like a trip to the dentist. It will be all straightened out, eventually, but not after several painful trips... sigh. Stay tuned for updates on the search for 3DS cards...

Day 10 Update : Compensation

To be fair once I read it I jumped the gun abit. There is something on there possibly for everyone... in some form of compensation... so I'll just remind Sony of the following.

1-It won't cost you anything to give out money to our accounts for your stuff. Really. In fact that's the best gift of all because...
2-Giving us free games is nice and all so I'll take that too... of course people are worried Sony will pack up horrible games as a gift... no problem with me, Sony, after all... your Episode 3 review will be what you give out so... if you give out horrible games don't blame me if you get horrible ratings back. Sorry. Then again some games people don't think well of that I actually liked so... (shrugs)... who can say? There is such a thing as a rare treasure that people are not playing enough of to know it's merits...

Thinking too far ahead. We'll see soon enough how Sony rewards our "patience".

Crisis at the PSN Day 10 - ...so... Sony is giong to what now?

I have to read the post fully myself but it seems, after Hulu (a third party provider on the PSN that I frankly didn't even know about... probably because it's only on the PS3) offered compensation for the outage, Sony decided to do likewise... for PS3 owners... in such pointless ways that completely axe out PSP owners... yeah... hmm... I'm going to look just to make sure, be right back. And oh...

3DS Life Episode 1
Got a bit of new content to go in while we continue to wait for the unboxing. Today it's just affirmation of what is going to be put together for the first reviews... still waiting for the unboxing.

PSN Crisis Day 8 - And Then Came The Cable News Outlets (aka the Monied Media)

Sony's problemns couldn't possibly get any worst after yesterday's announcement that they had member's personal info stolen... then the Monied Media roosted on top of Sony and things got worst.

Yes, it is the largest event of it's kind for a corporation like Sony... barring the times it happened to Microsoft... did it happen to Nintendo yet? Anyone remember?... and Sony had to explain why it took a whole week to tell everyone that their personal information may have been pilfered... but at least we know a few things.

1-Odds are this wasn't Anonymous. Last time they did this they didn't steal personal info... if they did now then Anon and company are up a creek headed for Federal prison.
2-That whole thing about greasing our accounts with apology money credit when this is all over isn't sounding so preposterous after all since, well, Sony has alot of people to apologize to after this major blunder.
3-We're still waiting on the partial re opening of the PlayStation Netework, which I'll cover... depending on how it reopens that's the cast that'll cover it. Games most likely will reopen so that'll mean PSP DLC... if it's the video section that opens first, however, that's PSP TV... and finally if it's comics first (don't see why but just in case) that's Digital Scribbles... oh well.

So as we reach the start of the second week of Sony's woes Sony can only hope things get better from here on out... because they dread not make the boat sink any faster if they know what's good for them.

The PSN Crisis Day 7 : New Sony Update "...uh... whoops?"

If you've been waiting for the other shoe to drop? It dropped... on Sony's head.
Yes. Today Sony finally admitted that, guess what, there might have been some info stealing from the PSN only it didn't happen April 20th... actually it's more like April 18th to 19th... so... you know... if you buy all your swag with a personal credit card you might want to keep an eye out for identity theft. Me? Non stop use of pre paid PlayStation Network cards, no credit cards for me... oh, as for the rest of my identity? Well... I don't even want my identity, so I'm sure nobody wants that.

But it's clear now that Sony will probably not get off the hook with a hand shake and a better luck next time once they get the network back up... which is to be partially restored sometime this week according to Sony... if they haven't thought yet about that whole sticking some money into our violated accounts? Now would be a good time. Last call by the way on $20, because if any more bad news comes around I'm going to start taking called for $50 next... because, well, Sony is finally wearing their membership's patience to it's limit here. Nice, Sony, nice.

In related news pushing to wrap up PSP DLC Episode 2 so that, Episode 3, can be started ASAP once the Network is back up partially to cover what came back, what happened while we were off, and (more importantly) what part of my account (my long list of downloads I have accumilated) is still there for me to draw on... or did Sony wipe me out of all the stuff I purchased, yet another reason for Sony to pony up... no, not $20, just for Digital Scribbles alone the tab is like over $100... hmm... Sony's just unlucky this Easter aren't they!

The Daily Update for April 25th 2011

PSN Crisis - It is now Day 6 and so far I'm sure we've gone in this crisis from hopeful that the next announcement will say when PSN will be back up to I'm pretty sure we can wrap an entire drinking game around the useless daily updates from Sony on the PSN Crisis... drink a shot everytime they apologize, drink a shot (non alcoholic of course... Sony is going to get you drinking greatly these coming weeks I feel) when Sony denies that there's a timetable for completion, drink a shot everytime they ask for your patience... etc etc etc.

Still if there is an update sometime this week I'll post it here... just in case. Speaking of update the PSP DLC cast (Episode 2) is 30% short an ending so I'm working to wrap it up shortly.

3DS Life Episode 1 - No progress again. Maybe tomorrow...

Next casts? Once I put PSP DLC Episode 2 to bed I'll work on Digital Scribbles Episode 4 and one more cast that isn't 3DS Life Episode 1... have to wait to unbox 3DS before I can finish that... sigh... how about some Doctor Who?

Updates All Around!

PSN Outage - Unfortunately it's not official but whispers are beginning that we could see PSN back on anywhere between (earliest) Monday in Japan and Tuesday in the rest of the world to next weekend (7 days)... so, keep an eye out in Japan everyone, if PSN goes back up there tomorrow (Monday) it'll be back everywhere else by Tuesday at the earliest...in the meantime...

PSP DLC Episode 2 - I took advantage of the weekend to cast about the outage. The cast is about 70% complete and I should be ready to put it out by Tuesday (to maybe greet PSN as it returns... knock on wood.)

Digital Scribbles Episode 4 - Got caught up with the PSP cast, so much so I am behind on my reviews to RKYV... have to turn them in before the weekend or I'm out for a month. Sigh. Back to work.

Commentary : The Debate About Reimbursement During the PSN Outage

During the outage of the PlayStation Network there has been quite abit of talk going on in the blog, and quite abit of discussion about not only how long the outage will be (now indefinite for the time being while Sony retools the entire Network from the ground up, fingers crossed it doesn't mean all of us losing our download records of stuff we purchased in the past) but whether or not Sony would, or to be more precise should, compensate us.

Sadly, as if to make the point moot, there is already writing in the PSN contract which makes any such compensation a pipe dream at best, and something Sony has no obligation to fulfill once the Network is back up... but not so much am I saying whether or not they are obligated to compensate us as whether or not it is in their best interest to do so... and I have to say that it a big yes in that regard.

First off Sony loses nothing by compensating us with... say a $20 card worth of stuff for regular members and $50 for Plus members... a rather conservative number kicked around by some posters though some said $25 for regular members... and I for one never remember seeing a $25 PSN card... so we'll stick to $20. This isn't a check, this isn't a payment that we'll all run out and cash at the bank, costing Sony millions, this is digital money used to get... yes... Sony product. Sony loses nothing by this, and in fact can only gain. How so?

One. It's a good faith gesture to the 70 or so million subscribers to the Sony service. It says that Sony thinks each and every one of us is a valuable commodity (those of us not in groups called "Anonymous" and secretly plotting to crash PSN because of some hardware or software change to the PS3 done some time ago) and that our membership is valued... and more importantly we are valued by them. You couldn't write better PR than that I can tell you right now. Also it is something to encourage new members...

Two. Why? Well alot of us will have nothing but good things to say about Sony once they grease our virtuaal palms and we praise them to high heaven over it. The past days will be all but forgotten, and we'll be in tighter than ever. And, more importantly, we'll be dropping our money on Sony once again as they are the best best of the three game companies if they only give us a reason to treasure them and express our gratitude to them.

Three. Did I mention it's good for PR? Especially since amongst the 70 million are people like me, who review Sony's product on a daily basis. I can say that I'll have only good things to say in my commentaries if Sony steps up to the bat, keeps us informed of the PSN recovery, and more importantly compensates us for the time as to affirm that they are indeed the best game company out there... as if Nintendo doesn't already do enough to prove that with their rather anti gamer stance on the WiiStore and the DS Store.

Four. Finally it is an investment in Sony, but it is also a pretty good chance to take notes because when we all go in to turn in our points Sony will have a pretty good idea what is their top sellers in games, TV and Movies, and comics from the sheer volumes of sales they'll be doing days after everyone is reimbursed. Far better than a survey and far quicker too.

It's only win/win on all sides if Sony does this. And while I don't expect Sony to do anything of the sort... I think it would be wise for them to consider it as they can only gain from such an act, and really after these few days of public relations hits upon hits on them by an increasingly angry fan base they could use all the positive press they can get right about now... updates on this as it goes along so stay tuned!

Your PSN Update of the Day

Here's today's update on the situation concerning the PlayStation Network... and it's a doozy!

"We sincerely regret that PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been suspended, and we are working around the clock to bring them both back online. Our efforts to resolve this matter involve re-building our system to further strengthen our network infrastructure. Though this task is time-consuming, we decided it was worth the time necessary to provide the system with additional security.

We thank you for your patience to date and ask for a little more while we move towards completion of this project. We will continue to give you updates as they become available"

Seriously? Your going to REBUILD the entire PlayStation Network from scratch?!? We better not lose anything from our accounts or there'll be hell to pay, Sony! And you too, Anonymous! I'm looking this up further to see just how time consuming this will be, so updates as that info become available!
