Own Mario vs. Donkey Kong Minis March Again? Play 3DS Life the Levels

I am actually working on a series of levels for the game... waiting on level approval, however, sucks... I don't know why, there is very little chance of creating objectionable content short of, I don't know, giant male penis platforms but who'd think of that... besides me of course. No hidden male appendages in the levels so I should be fine.

Working on finishing up Game As You Go, as well as the mini episode Arcade Jukebox so we can add them both together and get them ready for release. Also going to release Let's Learn Fail Whale on time tomorrow, just piece it together and get it out.

After that it's work on Digital Scribbles and PSP DLC Life (which may finally have it's first guest reviewer, knock on wood) for a weekend release. Stay tuned for updates!

I have not heard nothing from my Editors in the longest time... a little bit concerned... oh well. I guess they'll message me when they message me. Try not to worry too much and all that.

Mobile and Music Monthly... unless...

Going to double up Game As You Go and a music cast, tenatively entitled "Gaming Jukebox"... however if sufficent people drop requests for music (bgm, songs etc from video games) then I'll first do a bi-monthly cast, then weekly depending on the volume of requests. So please post in the comments your music requests please, or any questions... thank you.

In the meantime here is the schedule... actually casts could be delayed for awhile until I can get back to the old PC to work... coming down with the flu... sorry, but I can still do scripting while I get over it.

Upcoming Poll - Nintendo 3DS

NOTE - The upcoming vote is presently set to information I have pertaining to releases of upcoming 3DS games seen at E3 2011. Dates are still abit... vague... (October 2011 in Japan or Fourth Quarter 2011, aka Holiday 2011 no doubt, for instance)... so this is just a generalized vote until a solid date is given on each.

Podcast Update for June 20th 2011

First off, before we continue if you got a Club Nintendo account you probably already got notice that Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D just came out. Got that on my review schedule... but when? We will see... sigh.

Ok. Got 3DS Life Episode 3 and Retro Game Boy Life Episode 1 this weekend, but Let's Learn Fail Whale Episode 1 is delayed until Wednesdsy so I can put together a new ending.

So since an ending is only a few minutes what else is being put together?

For the summer it will be mini-casts for the time being. Then once September rolls around we will take the voting into account for the Fall era casts.

This Episode's Commentary - The Disposition of the 3DS Shop (and what more it needs)

NOTES
Forgot to add the time check on titles reviewed... but just so you know most ended at only a few hours. Nancy Drew was the longest at 6 hours to review, the rest was 1-3 hours with the exception of Gourmet Chef which I reviewed for several hours (but before I got the 3DS so I don't know exactly how long).

I already did two episodes so once I am caught up we will continue with Episode 3... but that for now is in the future. Right now I just want to relaunch this and see how it fares. Stay tuned.

Finally finished up Episode 3 of 3DS Life, and once I finish assembling it out it goes for uploading. Hope to have the link up shortly.

In the meantime, once it is done heading back to work on PSP DLC Life, Retro Game Boy Life and Digital Scribbles.

3DS System Update Info (June 15th 2011)

Not much but most important for you Ridge Racer 3D owners.

- Improves stability again and improves the 3DS overall... check out my 3DS Episode 4 commentary as to why you will never see plug ins like adobe flash player as something made available to any handhelds in the future.

- The freeze up problem with Ridge Racer 3D caused last update is fixed.

- Now you can download updates from wireless internet sources that you can add to the 3DS... guess this means stuff you find from Nintendo sources like McDonalds and Starbucks and the like can now be added to your 3DS. Guess I have to check that out myself in the future.

Now checking to see what is new with the 3DS Shop.

If you just tried to ger onto the eshop to check for updates you suddenly found yourself updating your 3DS... hope you dont have to do this every week the 3DS eshop updates... oh well, checking on the substance of the update... stay tuned for a update here.

Three days of family keeping me away from the comp keeps podcasting from getting done... so hope to get some work done today.

Speaking of work when does Nintendo add new content to the eshop? Not once a month I hope, it took forever just for Nintendo to open the eshop in the first place!

Anyone need a DSi Shop card?

As you know if you have been listening to 3DS Life, one of the things I did to prepare for the opening of the eshop to the 3DS was buy a DSi Shop card since the 3DS was supposed to get access to that shop... which happened, only not the way I originally planned.

DSi Shop Card available for Trade!

That's 2000 points... good thing I didn't buy more I suppose.
So much for access to the DSi Shop. The only thing you get is DSi games in the 3DS Shop... so this card? It's worthless to me. Trading it  for a 3DS card or a PlayStation Network card... yes, I am low on room but I can still use it all the same.

I'll update you on my search. If you are a follower and want to trade I'll let you know how. Just leave a comment here please for more information.

Nintendo Update 2.0.0 3DS Edition is Up... and already there's bugs!

Yes, apparently the e-shop wasn't even up 30 minutes before it went under for maintenance... wow... anyway I am reporting on the full upgrade over in 3DS Life... and all the hiccups the first day out with the new e-shop... argh... the internet and the first free thing you can get off the eshop... if you can get on.

Retro Game Boy Life - A trip to GameStop in the near future to pick out of the bargain box of Game Boy Advance titles is in this cast future, and more theme casts.

Wii Life - Probably the only cast I don't have plans for yet... sigh.

It seems I don't come up with many skits per month, probably because of this hiccupy piece of tech I use which makes it hard to be completely creative... but I do come up with the occasional idea. This month's skit the Wonder Pets are off to save... anyway you'll see. It's going to be in this month's episodes so you don't need to download the one episode to hear it. Check it out.

Update on casts coming shortly, only two days to the opening of the 3DS to Nintendo's e-shops... and what I picked up from Sony for free (only one thing because the stupid thing crapped out when I tried to get my second thing... just as well, I got the most important thing and we'll talk about it next cast!)

Only five days remain to the re-opening of the PlayStation Store (barring it opening early... unlikely) and the opening of e-shops to the 3DS (at least the DSiWare Shop and hopefully the 3DSWare Shop).

Miracles of miracles! We'll actually have the entire summer spoken for!... except for 3DS titles which requires the damn 3DSWare Shop to be open... stay tuned for this cast as I report on opening day of the shops and what shops opened... and what we're reviewing in the future!

(We have a cast planned for spots, puzzlers and one for RPGs including Kingdom Hearts 365/2 and that darn new recent Kingdom Hearts reboot on the DS... really, we ever going to get to Kingdom Hearts 3?!? Anytime in our lifetime, Square Enix slash Disney!
